Building a reputation

1521591_628719710522514_632309707_nTyrone Tower is quitting acting, swapping the grease paint for weather-proof. “It’s been one helluva ride,” he said, “but I need to get some structure back into my life.”

Tyrone started out in broadcasting but quickly made the switch from aerial to stock shot image in the early days of film. “He looked so human,” said his agent.

Tyrone’s career peaked with a colour remake of the silent classic ‘Metropolis’ (pictured) but made the mistake of acting above his station when he landed the singing lead of Jean Viljean in Les Miserables, where critics demolished Tower’s performance as “bloody Eiffel”.

Poor Tyrone, not exactly a Tower of Power was he? A very fun piece, Mike.

Thank you, Russell. Yes, Tyrone could have used a little more support.

Thank you, Bjorn. I know puns are bad but sometimes I just can’t resist.

:) :) Very clever. How long did it take you to think this one up?

    • #13 by mike olley on December 28, 2013 - 11:40

Less than an hour, all done and dusted. Trouble is, that hour was between 4 and 5am.

Thank you, that’s the trouble with the acting game; it’s all a façade.
